Great to have some transparency on an arts phenomena with such a high profile – once again ”Socially Engaged” becomes hijacked as a tool for maintaining the status quo and inequality.  Artists’ Union England recently endorsed ”Socially Engaged ” artists within their Rule Book at an AGM.  An act (in my opinion) to politically reclaim the right to community based art having parity with other art forms.  Great piece of writing by Colouring in Culture.
