Start the weekend at our Open Studios Preview!

This is a weekend event, its FREE! and starts Friday 25th  17.00-20.00

25th November 17.00-20.00 – hands on make your own postcard print & support striking Durham Teaching Assistants strike fund!

Striking today & tomorrow, Durham County Council plan to sack 2700 Teaching Assistants and impose a 23% wage cut on re-engaged staff!  The message & information the Council send out devalues their staff and misinforms the public.  Durham TA’s are defending their jobs, pay & conditions and deserve our support.  In the words of Henry Hetherington ‘Knowledge is power!’.  Come along and make your own print to take away, but leave a donation for the strikers fund.  Want to support the Durham TA’s? you can donate HERE.  Want to know more about Henry Hetherington?  Check out Spartacus Educational.
