It all started at Creative Cohesion, in the winter of 2010. A 10 week course teaching a group of creative individuals how to make and print artists books… based on the city of Sunderland. The original idea started in Washington DC in 2009 at Artomatic, a visit made possible through the vision of Anne Tye Sunderlandcurrently Creative Industries Development Manager for SCC. Now The Sunderland Book Project comprising of 49 books and 57 participants from around the world will be heading off to Washington DC for the Pyramid Atlantic Book Arts Fair & Conference November 16-18 where I will be giving a talk on the Project itself. There is still time to contribute to this FREE book art project. Just download an application here.Application Form Sland Bk
