Tree House presents a recycled glass cabinet in the form of greenhouse, nurturing a selection of trees connected to the City of Sunderland, home  to one of the largest tree populations (for a city) in England.  The piece celebrates the city’s green credentials in the form of a living artwork, renovating an old, discarded cabinet to function as a contemporary terrarium.

Currently on show at Arts Centre Washington (20th June – 20th August 2011) as part of ‘Make do and Mend’: innovate-renovate-rejuvenate.
