Summer Printmaking Workshops

Working in a professional glass & print studio in the heart of Newcastle’s cultural quarter, participants will be able to create their own original designs onto glass or create a series of hand printed books in the following workshops:
Hand made printed books Wednesday 25th May & Wednesday 1st June 6-8.30pm £55
Screen-printing onto Glass Saturday & Sunday
11- 5pm 4th & 5th June £140

Theresa Easton is a printmaker and Fine Art Lecturer at Newcastle University working with letterpress and zines. Printmaking provides a platform for Easton’s interpretation of social history and cultural commentary. As an artist with a socially engaged practice, Easton enjoys a collaborative approach to making artwork and developing ideas alongside participants. Community participation features as a driving force in her work. An active members of Artists’ Union England (AUE), Easton’s practice is steeped in her activism and community values.
